1. Assumption of Risk
By registering for the Ride Ya Bike Jamaica Annual Bike Ride (the "Ride"), you acknowledge and agree to the following:
- Physical Fitness: You are physically fit and healthy enough to participate in a single-day cycling event.
- Risk of Injury: You understand that cycling is an inherently risky activity and that there is a risk of injury or death, including but not limited to, accidents, falls, collisions, or exposure to the elements.
- Waiver of Liability: You waive any and all claims against Ride Ya Bike Jamaica, its organizers, sponsors, volunteers, and affiliates for any injuries, damages, or losses that may occur during the Ride, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
2. Event Rules and Regulations
- Helmet Use: You must wear an approved bicycle helmet at all times during the Ride.
- Traffic Laws: You must obey all traffic laws and regulations.
- Event Rules: You agree to follow all rules and regulations set forth by Ride Ya Bike Jamaica, including but not limited to, route instructions, rest stop procedures, and emergency protocols.
- Event Cancellation: Ride Ya Bike Jamaica reserves the right to cancel or postpone the Ride due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to, inclement weather, natural disasters, or public health concerns.
3. Media Release
By participating in the Ride, you grant Ride Ya Bike Jamaica the right to use your name, likeness, and image in photographs, videos, and other media for promotional and marketing purposes.
4. Emergency Contact Information
You must provide accurate and up-to-date emergency contact information. Ride Ya Bike Jamaica may use this information in case of an emergency.
5. Event Fees and Refunds
- Event Fees: You agree to pay all applicable fees for the Ride.
- Refunds: Refunds will not be issued for any reason, including but not limited to, cancellation, postponement, or injury.
6. Modifications to Terms and Conditions
Ride Ya Bike Jamaica reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any modifications will be effective immediately upon posting on the Ride Ya Bike Jamaica website or other designated platform.
